Our laboratory facilities are housed in Esslinger Hall and include:

Exercise Lab

Extensive instrumentation for studying cardiovascular regulation during and after exercise.

Microneurography Lab

Amplified signals from nerves controlling blood vessels are studied to assess their role in the human response to exercise and environmental stresses.

Human Cardiovascular Physiology Lab

Houses a wide range of studies from basic thermoregulation to cardiovascular risk factors in women.

Environmental Chamber

This 12'x12' room is capable of controlling temperature between -10 to 50 degrees Celsius, humidity between 10% and 95%, and simulating altitudes up to 18,000'. The new facility significantly enhances our research capabilities for studying human integrative physiology.

Biochemistry Lab

Basic tools for processing samples and assaying key compounds for our research.
