The Exercise and Environmental Physiology Laboratories are state-of-the-art research facilities within the Department of Human Physiology at the University of Oregon.
We research how the human cardiovascular and respiratory systems adapt and respond to exercise and other stresses encountered during everyday life.
We have four major research programs: Exercise Physiology, Women’s Health, Altitude-Hypoxia, and Thermoregulation. Each of these programs is related to issues of human health and disease.
